Pepsi’s Ramadan campaign, “Let’s Get Together“, features an advertisement that can only be viewed fully across three screens.
During Ramadan, mobile activity surges after sundown, with a significant increase in activity across all social platforms. The video pieces are narrated by popular Egyptian actor Sameer Ghanem and feature groups of friends being brought together by a meal at the end of a day of Ramadan fasting.
Pepsi does a great job of integrating the message into the media by requiring viewers to team up with friends to view the ads. It’s not often that a brand can compel consumers to go out of their ways to view an ad, but Pepsi does so successfully with this genuine message about togetherness during this holiday that focuses so much on bringing friends and family closer together.
