Nike has recently given Nike+ users a one-minute film featuring content based on their personal Nike+ activity logs from 2014. Using data from Nike+ Running, Nike+ Training Club and NikeFuel, the sportswear juggernaut has created a unique way for the most active users to better understand their personal activity and motivate them to outdo themselves in 2015.

These motivational films, called Nike Your Year videos (complimenting their Our Year campaign), feature an animated character running around a city, which has unique characteristics such as location, weather and personal activity that reflect that of the respective Nike+ user.  According to David Schriber, VP of North America Brand Marketing for Nike, “…we wanted to inspire them to push for new goals and opportunities in 2015 by sharing some of the magic behind their data in an artistic and unexpected way.”

With consumer data analyzation & application becoming exponentially bigger within the marketing realm, Nike looks to wow their fit fan base in 2015 with new approaches for communicating with and motivating them. Watch some of the videos or learn more about Your Year here.
