Jameson partnered with Grammy award-winning musician and record producer, Anderson .Paak, on #LoveThyBar campaign to stress the importance of supporting local bars in your community.
During the month of March, the brand is encouraging people to go out and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with friends at a local bar by offering drink rebates. All customers have to do to claim the rebate is send a message to Jameson via Facebook Messenger, order a Jameson cocktail at a local bar and send a picture of the receipt through the app. The brand is willing to spend up to $1 million on these rebates in select states across the U.S. Through this campaign, Jameson and Anderson .Paak hope to serve as a reminder that local bars are a vital part of the community, especially for up and coming musicians, and many of them are at risk of closing.
Jameson was able to find an easy way to get liquid to lips while still supporting a bigger cause by partnering with Anderson .Paak. Since many people are actively using their phones at the bar anyway, they are likely to take advantage of the offer and spark conversation about it with others.
