In response to a steady decline in births since 2007, Huggies has launched a branded Pandora station to put listeners in the baby-making mood. The station, which launched on February 13, includes the smooth sounds of Maxwell, Sam Smith and John Legend to help turn things around for diaper sales.

Thankfully, the majority of the brand’s Facebook followers realized the activation was done in jest, and engaged the brand by posting the appropriate laughter emojis. While this approach is attention-grabbing and humorous, it’s questionable whether a brand that represents one of the least-sexy parental jobs would be able to effectively set the mood for romance… especially with integrated ads reading “Happy Baby Making. – See you in 9 months. Stock up now.”
