Just in time for the Super Bowl, Google has partnered up with the National Football League to release their own YouTube channel which will show videos, scores, broadcast times and other info in its search results.

For example, when users type in “Seahawks”, Google will bring up a video recap as well as video preview for the Super Bowl. While the NFL YouTube channel will offer game previews, in-game highlights and recaps, it won’t feature live streaming. According to the Wall Street Journal, Google will pay annual fees for the right to broadcast, and will split additional revenue with the league. This partnership shows how brand collaboration can work to maximize reach and improve overall user experience. For more info, visit Time.
