Dunkin’ asked fans to help choose from new iced coffee flavors inspired by Baskin Robbins – butter pecan, cookie dough, pistachio, rocky road and Jamoca almond fudge.
Voting was open from August 21-25, and fans could vote by commenting on posts across Dunkin’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. On the final day of voting, fans could visit stores for special Snapchat geofilters that could be used for voting. The winning flavors will be announced August 31.
Dunkin’ has been leveraging Snapchat a lot this summer, and it totally makes sense for this promotion when you think about the iced coffee drinking demographic – young people. The Snapchat execution was also a great way to pull Dunkin’s loyal fanbase from digital to in-store.
