Domino’s is launching a loyalty promotion where fans can earn points by scanning any pizza with their app’s new pizza identification feature.

In order to participate in this promotion, fans must download the Domino’s app and sign up for their Piece of the Pie Rewards program. The brand has noted that the new scanning feature is smart enough to recognize any type of pizza and will award points to the user, even if it’s from a competitor. Once a customer earns 60 points, they can trade them in for a free medium two-topping pizza. This promotion will run from February 2nd through April 28th.

Domino’s is yet another brand that’s avoiding the hefty Super Bowl spot price tag and finding other creative ways to engage with fans during that time. With a huge increase in pizza orders on game day, the brand found a perfect time to encourage app downloads and loyalty.
