Schick Hydro hired several barbers to create virtual shaving tutorials that provide tips for men who now have to handle their own personal grooming needs during the lockdown.

The shaving product brand launched this campaign using the #ShaveFromHome hashtag on Instagram, inviting fans to follow the tutorial series on their Stories. Among these barbers are Kyle Krieger from Los Angeles, who has a big celebrity clientele, and Anthony Gianotti, who owns Bottle & Barlow barbershop in Sacramento. Schick is also encouraging people to donate to the National Association of Barbers, an organization that’s raising money to support out-of-work and independent barbers during this time. The brand has promised to match up to $50,000 in donations.

Schick is doing its part in supporting those in the industry who are struggling financially during this pandemic, while also providing access to free education from skilled barbers that most people would never have the opportunity to get otherwise. The brand found a relevant way to join in on conversations already happening on social media, helping them stay top of mind with consumers during this time.
