Ray-Ban, the American sunglasses brand mostly known for their aviators, recently released a new promotion using gamification and Facebook in a very unique way.

Ray-Ban with the help of digital agency, StinkDigital, collaborated on a mobile inspired virtual game which they’re calling MADE. The game forces you to connect with Facebook as it is essential to MADE’s gameplay. After choosing your profile picture, you are sent into a mario-esque world of avoiding mines, jumping over spikes and taking down evil bosses.

The game’s levels are titled as office puns (i.e. Cubicle Factory) with the core focus of rescuing your Facebook friends (whose pictures show up as a similar character) from “mediocrity”. This digital game is mobile responsive and an intriguing way to draw engagement.
