As part of the brand’s “Yabba Dabba Doo” campaign, Post Fruity Pebbles has released a 30-second immersive pre-roll spot set to run on two multi-platform virtual reality apps, VirtualSky and StartApp.

The ad takes viewers through a variety of action-packed adventures, like jamming with a garage band, and extends the “Yabba Dabba Doo” campaign’s goal of “going, creating, exploring, having fun and pushing yourself to do more than you normally would do.”

This execution, which is Post’s first exploration into the world of virtual reality marketing, is designed to create an overload sensory experience, similar to the sensation one experiences when eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.

Virtual reality has the unique ability to transform a brand into an experience, something consumers are increasingly drawn to. By taking advantage of this popular, up-and-coming technology Post has found a creative way to fully immerse viewers in its brand.
