General Mills developed an iPad app for its Latin multi-brand, Qué Rica Vida, that holds over 900 latin-inspired recipes. The recipes are divided into 12 categories, including breakfast, lunch, appetizers, dinner, and more. In addition to the recipes, iPad users can access tips and advice for mothers regarding health and education. Marta Pelaez, spokeswoman for General Mills Hispania, said, “The new Qué Rica Vida Recetario for the iPad comes in response to overwhelming demand the company has received for Spanish-language recipes from consumers allowing us to use digital and social media technologies to meet our consumers’ needs.”
