The Microsoft search engine BING has announced the launch of an advertising campaign that offers free wifi for one use of the site. At selected hot spots, BING will provide consumers free access to wifi connections for a single use of their search engine. The campaign will target more than just mobile devices. However, Microsoft is targeting their campaign for mobile devices for a faster internet connection on some device that may rely on standard network signals. BING is receiving mixed consumer reports. But, for the most part, Microsoft believes initial scepticism will wear off and the advertising launch will prompt consumers to rely on BING more frequently.
