Sprint Nextel is targeting BlackBerry and Windows Mobile 6.5 users with an app store, set to launch in 2010. The company says its competitive edge over Apple is accepting apps that “meet basic criteria,” instead of rejecting apps without allowing consumers to try it for themselves.
